Children playrooms can come in all manner of shapes, colours and sizes. All it takes is some inspiration, resourcefulness and imagination on your part or the interior designer entrusted with the task.
You can try out endless combinations to your heart’s content and experiment as much as you want. What matters most at the end of the day is that you achieve your goal, which is to provide your children with a lovely attractive playroom.
This is a simple classy sample of a children’s playroom, roomy, and spacious. There is a plastic center table, with accompanying plastic chairs. The chairs easily fit in under the table.
The children get to write, draw, paint or colour their drawing using crayons on the table, which is wide enough to accommodate four chairs, which means it can adequately take care of four children.
There is a shelf on the left hand corner of the room with drawers on the lower section. Toys can be placed on the top of the shelf, baskets in the middle section and the drawers can hold items like blankets, and quilts.
Some toys can be neatly heaped up at the far left corner of the room while the right side of the room can also take care of additional storage containers.
You can also put up a notice board of sorts where you can have pin ups of the children’s favourite cartoon characters, superheroes, sample drawings and paintings done by the kids themselves.
There are two wide windows, which provide sufficient and adequate ventilation for the children playroom. The floor has some sort of linoleum covering and there is a big soft cushion for the kids to sit on, which is more comfortable than the chairs around the center table.
Notice the use of hues of soft colours like pink and green combined to enhance the aesthetic effect in the room.
